Dermaceutic Activ Retinol 0.5 - 30ml

Repair and restore lacklustre skin with the Dermaceutic Activ Retinol 0.5.

A medium strength active retinol to improve the appearance of skin texture and also reduces the appearance of signs of skin aging. Formulated with 0.5% Retinol alongside Vitamins C and E, this stimulating serum boosts cell renewal to target the most common signs of premature ageing such as sun damage, uneven texture, fine lines, wrinkles and dullness.

Added Ceramides help to firm and plump the skin while Panthenol deeply hydrates to leave it looking smoother and more radiant.

For normal to sensitive skins. If you are completely new to retinol this active ingredient must be gradually introduced into your skincare routine in the evening. Use 1-2 times weekly to ensure your skin adapts, always use SPF the following morning and do not mix with AHA/BHA's.

Apply to clean skin on the face and neck in evening before your Dermaceutic cream of choice. Not suitable for use during pregnancy or when breast-feeding.

VACUUM PUMP

This product has been packaged using an airless vacuum pump to protect it against oxidisation and to increase the shelf life of the ingredients.

Before first use, turn the product upside down and tap the bottom a few times to loosen the product, then return the product to an upright position and depress the pump at least 50 times or until the product dispenses.

PATCH TEST

If you are new to this product or any of its ingredients, we recommend completing a patch test first.

USE OF RETINOL

When using Retinol for the first time, it is important to allow the skin time to acclimatise to the active ingredient. Apply a small amount in the evening no more than twice a week, never on consecutive evenings, for at least two weeks. If the skin hasn’t suffered any extreme irritation or redness, start to increase the number of applications gradually over a period of weeks until you reach a number your skin is comfortable with. This could range from three nights to seven nights a week.

As Retinol can make the skin sensitive to sunlight, always apply a sunscreen to the skin every morning to prevent sun-induced inflammation and damage.
